I'm running Windows 8.1 and there was issues setting this up and finally I had to call TP-Link Global support for help because Indian support was having Dussera holidays. I shifted my main router to the living hall and using this WA in my bedroom, so that I can cover the entire house without getting disconnected. This is the first time I used a Wireless Adapter for my desktop PC and I'm happy with the speed though it has dropped when compared to the LAN.
